A missed call is not a voicemail. It is a decision.
Most people calling a local business are not researching. They have a problem now and a list of three numbers. If the first one rings out they do not leave a message and wait, they call the second one. The call log on your phone is the only record that it happened, and by the time you scroll it that evening the job is booked with someone else.
The gap you are trying to close is measured in minutes, not days. A text that lands while the person is still holding the phone reaches them in the middle of the decision. One that lands two hours later reaches them after it.
Four things happen, and none of them need you.
-
The call comes in and goes unanswered
Ring out, busy, after hours, or you hit decline because you are standing on a roof. The trigger is the same either way: a call that did not connect.
-
A text goes out from your number, in seconds
Not a generic autoresponder from a strange area code. It comes from the number they dialed, so the reply lands in the thread they already started.
-
They reply, and it becomes a normal conversation
Plenty of people will answer a text who would never leave a voicemail. The thread hands you their name, the job and the address without a callback.
-
The lead is saved whether or not you get to it
Every missed call and every reply is recorded with the time, the number and the thread, so nothing sits unnoticed in a phone you are not holding.
What we set up with you.
A message that sounds like you
We write the text with you. It says who you are, that you are on a job, and asks the one question that lets you quote: what is the job and where. Not "Sorry we missed you."
After-hours rules
A 7pm call and a 7am call get different messages. You decide what goes out when, including nothing at all on a Sunday if that is how you want to work.
A record you can read
Missed, texted, replied, booked. You can see which calls were rescued and which were not, which is the only honest way to tell whether it is worth keeping.
The price is on the page, not on a sales call.
This is not one of the four flat packages, so we will not print a number on it that turns out to be wrong. It is quoted with your plan, in writing, before anything is built. The plans themselves are public: Gold is $80 a month plus a $250 one time build fee, and Diamond is $215 a month with no build fee.
Gold
The site itself: a custom build, hosting, your domain, intake forms, a visitor dashboard and the answers assistant.
Diamond
Everything in Gold with no build fee, plus all four tool packages, monitoring, priority on changes and monthly reporting by email.
Month to month, no cancellation fee, and your domain is registered in your name. Full details on the pricing page, and the whole list of what we run is on the services page.
What it will not do.
- It will not answer the phone for you. If the caller wanted a person right now, a text is a consolation prize and some of them will still ring somebody else. The point is to recover a share of the ones you were going to lose completely, not all of them.
- It will not work if nobody reads the reply. The text starts a conversation and a human has to finish it. A business where the thread goes unchecked gets the same result as a business without any of this.
- And it needs a business number that can send text messages. If yours is a landline that cannot, that is a setup problem we have to solve first, and we will tell you plainly what it involves before you pay for anything.
Asked before people buy this.
How fast does the text go out?
Within seconds of the call ending. That timing is the whole product: the message has to reach the caller while they are still holding the phone and still deciding who to try next.
Does the text come from my real business number?
Yes. It comes from the number they dialed, so their reply lands in the thread they already started rather than in a strange area code they will ignore.
What does missed-call text-back cost?
It is not one of the four flat packages, because what it takes depends on your phone setup. We quote it in writing with your plan before anything is built. Plans themselves are public: Gold is $80 a month plus a $250 one time build fee, and Diamond is $215 a month with no build fee.
Will it text people I called and missed by accident?
No. It fires on inbound calls only, and you can exclude numbers, set hours, and stop it for anyone already in a live thread with you.
Do I need a new website to use it?
No. This runs on your phone number rather than your website, so it works for a business whose site we did not build.

The other half of this is knowing which calls you are missing and where they came from: call tracking answers that. Why your leads are not calling back covers response speed more broadly, automated follow-up handles the quote that goes quiet after the call, and the trade pages for plumbers and HVAC companies show what this looks like in a business where the phone is everything.

Tell us what you run and how your phone is set up. We come back with whether this fits, what it would take, and a written price.
