Our commitment
Gold Strategics is committed to keeping goldstrategics.com (the "Site") usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, and keyboard navigation. We treat accessibility as part of how the Site is built and maintained. This statement explains the standard we work toward, the measures we have taken, and how to reach us if you run into a problem.
Standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines are published by the World Wide Web Consortium and are a widely recognized reference for making web content more accessible to people with a range of disabilities. Level AA is our working target across the Site. WCAG 2.2 adds requirements we now test for, including minimum target sizes for anything clickable.
Measures we have taken
To move toward that target, the Site is built with the following in mind:
- Semantic HTML with landmark regions such as header, main, navigation, and footer, so assistive technology can identify the structure of each page.
- Keyboard operability, so the Site can be used without a mouse, together with a visible focus state that shows which element is currently selected.
- Text alternatives for images that carry meaning, and empty alternative text for images that are decorative only.
- Color contrast between text and its background that meets the Level AA contrast ratios.
- Respect for the reduce motion system setting, so animation is turned off for visitors whose device is set to limit motion.
- Form fields that are labeled and can be completed with a keyboard or assistive technology.
- A responsive layout that continues to work when the page is zoomed or viewed on a small screen.
How we check
Pages are tested against an automated checklist covering alternative text, form labeling, color contrast at AA thresholds, target sizes, heading order, landmark regions, page language and reduced-motion support. The homepage, this statement, the privacy policy and the terms of service were last checked on 4 August 2026 and passed at both desktop and mobile widths. Automated testing does not catch everything, which is why the reporting route below matters.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one time task. We review the Site as we add and update pages. Some older template pages, and some content served by third parties, may not yet meet every Level AA requirement. Where we find gaps, we work to correct them, and these pages are being reviewed as part of our regular maintenance.
Reporting a problem
If you find a part of the Site that is difficult to use, or a barrier that prevents you from reaching content, please tell us. Email [email protected] with the address of the page and a short description of the problem. If you can, include the assistive technology or browser you were using, because that helps us reproduce the issue. We treat access problems as a priority and address them promptly.
