Review generation

Nobody forgets to ask for the review if asking is not a job.

Your best customers would leave you a review. Most of them never do, because nobody asked while they were still standing in the finished room feeling good about it. Asking once is easy. Asking every single time, on the day, for years, is the part no busy owner sustains. So the asking becomes automatic, and the review itself stays entirely up to the customer.

Why this matters

Reviews are the part of your reputation you can actually build.

Your rating is the number people use to decide between you and the other result on the map. It is also the only piece of your presence online that a competitor cannot simply outspend, because it is made of other people's experience of your work.

There is real evidence underneath this, and it is worth being precise about what it says. Michael Luca at Harvard Business School matched Yelp ratings to Washington State Department of Revenue filings and found that for independent restaurants, one extra star was worth 5 to 9 percent more revenue. That study covered Seattle-area independents around 2011, it found no effect at all for chain restaurants, and it is not a prediction about your business. It is simply the strongest causal evidence anyone has that the rating itself moves money.

How it works

Four steps, and you do one of them.

  1. You mark the job finished

One tap on the phone already in your hand. That is the entire trigger, and it is deliberately something you were going to do anyway.

  2. A request goes out by text, at the right moment

Not the next morning and not a week later. The window in which a happy customer will stop and type is short, and a text gets opened when an email does not.

  3. They tap once and land on your Google profile

One link, pointed straight at the review box. Every extra step between the ask and the box loses people, and most review requests have three.

  4. Everything lands in one feed

Google, Facebook, wherever else you are rated. New reviews show up in one place instead of you finding out about a bad one three weeks later.

What you get

What we set up with you.

A request written like a person sent it

Short, uses their first name and the job you did, and reads like it came from you. The template that opens with "Dear valued customer" is why most review requests are ignored.

One reminder, and then it stops

If they do not respond, one nudge goes a few days later and then nothing. Businesses that keep asking get reported as spam and have earned it.

Your reviews on your own site

The stars and the best of what people wrote, pulled onto your own pages, so the proof is in front of a visitor before they go looking for it.

What it costs

The price is on the page, not on a sales call.

This is not one of the four flat packages, so we will not print a number on it that turns out to be wrong. It is quoted with your plan, in writing, before anything is built. The plans themselves are public: Gold is $80 a month plus a $250 one time build fee, and Diamond is $215 a month with no build fee.

Gold

$80/mo + $250 build

The site itself: a custom build, hosting, your domain, intake forms, a visitor dashboard and the answers assistant.

Diamond

$215/mo

Everything in Gold with no build fee, plus all four tool packages, monitoring, priority on changes and monthly reporting by email.

Month to month, no cancellation fee, and your domain is registered in your name. Full details on the pricing page, and the whole list of what we run is on the services page.

Straight answers

The line we will not cross, even if you ask us to.

  • We do not gate reviews. Review gating means surveying the customer first and only sending the happy ones on to Google. It works, it is common, and it breaks Google's policies. A business caught doing it can have its reviews removed, which undoes years of real work in an afternoon. Everybody gets the same request.
  • We do not write reviews, buy them, or choose who gets asked. If your work is producing unhappy customers, this will surface them faster than you would like, which is arguably the more useful outcome.
  • And it does not repair a rating you already have. It changes what happens from today forward. A poor average built over three years takes a lot of new reviews to move, and we will tell you roughly how many before you buy anything.
Common questions

Asked before people buy this.

Is automatically asking for reviews against Google's rules?

No. Asking every customer for an honest review is explicitly allowed. What is not allowed is asking only the customers you expect to be happy, which is called review gating, and offering anything of value in exchange for a review. We do neither.

What happens if someone leaves a bad review?

You see it the day it lands rather than three weeks later, and you get to reply. A calm, specific reply is read by every future customer who scrolls past it, and it usually does more for you than the review does against you.

Will it annoy my customers?

One text after the job and one reminder if they do not answer, then it stops. You set both, and you can switch the reminder off entirely.

Does it work with Facebook and other review sites?

The request can point wherever you want. Most local businesses should point it at Google, because that is where the map result people actually use gets decided.

What does review generation cost?

It is not one of the four flat packages; it is quoted with your plan in writing before anything is built. Showing your reviews on your own site, where AI assistants can also read them, is part of Get found at $35 a month. Gold is $80 a month plus a $250 one time build fee.

Reviews are also one of the strongest signals in how AI assistants pick which businesses to mention, and what a Google Business Profile does and where it stops is worth reading alongside this. The same trigger that asks for the review can run automated follow-up, and restaurant websites is where the rating matters most of all.

Ask every customer, without ever remembering to.

Tell us what you do and roughly how many jobs you finish in a month. We come back with what this would take and a written price.

We read every one. If this is not the right fix for you we will say so instead of booking a call to tell you slowly.
