The Quiet Room

Built for the dogs who hate the groomer.

Most grooming stress isn't the bath. It's the noise, the cages, the strangers, the waiting. We removed all four.

no. 1

One dog in the water

Your dog is our only appointment while they're here. No crowded kennel room, no chorus of barking, no waiting in a cage for pickup.

no. 2

Fear-free hands

Our groomers are certified in fear-free handling. Nervous dogs get slower sessions, extra breaks, and endless patience, never restraint-first shortcuts.

no. 3

Warm water, warm towels

Temperature-checked baths, cushioned tables, and heated towels. Seniors and arthritic dogs get shorter sessions and extra padding.

The full story after

Every visit ends with a written report card: coat, skin, ears, nails, teeth, mood, and anything a vet should glance at.

The Report Card

You get the full story.

Your groomer sees your dog up close, nose to tail, more thoroughly than almost anyone else in their life. That's worth more than a bow and a bandana.

So every visit ends with a written report card: coat, skin, ears, nails, teeth, and mood, plus anything we think deserves a vet's glance. Our clients have caught skin conditions, ear infections, and dental issues early because a groomer wrote it down.

It's a small piece of paper. It's also the whole philosophy.

The Bathhouse

Less kennel, more spa.

Jane Doe opened The Suds Club in 2016 after a decade of watching good dogs get processed like laundry. The bathhouse is quiet on purpose: warm light, warm water, no stacked cages, no assembly line, music that keeps the humans calm too.

Your dog walks in, gets one groomer's full attention from soak to bow, and waits for you on a cushion, not behind bars. That's the whole trick. There is no other trick.

The reason every dog pulls toward our door

Love Letters
Our anxious rescue used to shake at the word 'groomer.' Now he cries with excitement in the parking lot. I don't know what kind of magic happens in there and I've stopped asking.

Jane Doe & Biscuit, Goldendoodle

The report card made me tear up. They noticed a skin thing our vet later confirmed. These people actually look at your dog.

John Doe & Maple, Corgi

Fourteen years old, arthritic, and she comes home looking like a show dog and acting like a puppy. Worth every penny twice over.

Before You Book

Fair questions.

How much does dog grooming cost?

Our menu is priced by size: The Soak runs $45 to $85, The Full Works $75 to $135, and The Deep End $110 to $185, from under 15 pounds up to the gentle giants. Every price is on the menu on this page, no call-for-quote games.

How long does an appointment take?

Because we book one dog at a time, most appointments run 90 minutes to 2.5 hours depending on size, coat, and service. Your dog is never sitting in a cage waiting; when we call, they're ready and fresh.

My dog is anxious or has never been groomed. Can you help?

That's our specialty. Our groomers are fear-free certified and nervous first-timers get slower sessions with extra breaks. Tell us in the booking form and we'll schedule a quieter time slot.

Do you groom senior dogs?

Gladly. Seniors get cushioned tables, warm towels, shorter sessions when they tire, and handling that respects old joints. If a full session is too much, we'll split it.

What is the report card?

Every visit ends with a written summary of your dog's coat, skin, ears, nails, teeth, and mood, plus anything we think deserves a vet's eye. Groomers see your dog up close more often than almost anyone; the report card puts that to work.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes, we're appointment-only so every dog gets a private session. Members get priority windows, and the booking form below usually gets a reply within a few hours.
