✓Held the slot so nobody double-books it

Why the deposit is the whole product: a barber who takes 40 bookings a week and eats 5 no-shows loses a full afternoon of chair time. A small hold that comes off the price filters exactly the people who were not coming, and nobody serious blinks at it.
